With Cannes Lions Festival on the horizon, I wanted to share a few thoughts heading into the biggest celebration of creative excellence – now in its 70th year.

Over the last 12 months I’ve been impressed by the industry’s collective progress. As I look across our Cannes contenders, it’s clear we are doing much more than advertising. In many ways, we are fundamentally changing how our clients show up, engage with their customers, and conduct business today.

The diversity of ideas, platforms, and technologies being used the world over only serve as proof that the value we provide clients can be infinite. Exceptional creativity has the power to drive meaningful progress for people, for business and for positive change in the world.

I want to personally thank everyone across the DDB network who show up every day as their true self and pour themselves into what they love. It shows.
