DDB North America Honors Disability Employment Awareness Month
October marked National Disability Employment Awareness month (NDEAM) in the United States. DDB Global Chief Diversity Officer Nikki Lamba and DDB North America Chief Data Officer Jatinder Singh joined non for-profit Creative Spirit for the organization’s Virtual Summit at the New York Stock Exchange held in honor of NDEAM.
Creative Spirit is an organization devoted to creating integrated employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The day featured experts and self-advocate speakers and panels on the importance of improving representation, accessibility, inclusion, and economic security for people with disabilities. Nikki and Jatinder discussed the new era of DE&I and the impact of including people with disabilities in recruitment and retention practices.
